Flannagan-Murrell House, Inc. (FMH) was founded in 1990 with the purpose of preserving the oldest extant house in the Hinton National Historic District.
Since 2004 the 501(c)(3) organization has acted as collaboration of community partners including the Festival of the Rivers (FOR), Campbell-Flannagan-Murrell House Museum (CFM), Mountain River Artisans (MRA), and Three Rivers Arts Council (TRAC).
Our mission is to preserve the cultural heritage and unique quality of this early railroad community and bring more presentational and performance artists to the communities, thereby, creating a more active presence for the arts in Hinton, Summers County, and West Virginia.
